Thumbs Up for Cambodia Supervisory Skills Training
MPDF's recently published report has found that the training, conducted for supervisors in seven Gap Inc. vendor factories, was successful both in equipping supervisors with new knowledge and skills and in helping supervisors change their supervisory practices. They also reported evidence of bottom line benefits of the training for the supervisors' factories and went on to recommend that "MPDF and GAP should continue to roll out similar training to other garment factories in the country because this Supervisory Skills Training has been rated as very relevant and effective".
Business Dynamics' Diena Trigg began training three MPDF facilitators to conduct Business Dynamics' Supervisory Skills training program in January 2005, and the qualified trainers conducted the training for seven of Gap Inc's Cambodia vendor factories throughout the year.
